How We Work

Our service couldn’t be simpler; feel free to call us and we’ll be happy to talk you through the process.

Essentially once you are ready to begin your render, setup your scenes exactly as you would want them to render on your machine, and then, when we have received the files, we’ll handle everything from there on.

Here is a quick outline of the processes we like to work to:

  1. We discuss your render job first; we will have a few questions regarding the program used (which version, any plug-ins used etc) and the type of project you want rendered (having information on how many frames you need rendered, and roughly how long they have been taking to render on your machine will be useful for this stage)
  2. You then send the files by uploading them onto our secure FTP site (or on some occasion by courier if there are unusually large amounts of data) However you send the files, it is worth double checking that you have included all the textures, bitmaps and objects including ones that are no longer in the scene but are still referenced within the project.
  3. Once the files have been received, a resource analysis will be conducted by the technical team to check that all the files required for a successful render are present. If any textures, bitmaps or objects are missing from the files we will inform you.
  4. A few frames from the sequence will be rendered as a test and sent to you straight away by FTP or by email for your approval. The rest of the sequence will then be submitted to render across the network.
  5. Once the render is completed, the finished frames will be checked on site and then sent back to you either via email, FTP or a courier service depending on the amount of outputted data.
