Render-It undertakes to supply a graphics rendering service to the Client, subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

Pricing:

1) The Rate to apply:

a) Project rate to be quoted by Render-It; agreed upon by the Client

b) Please note that the final cost quote will include the cost of Electricity at £1.79 per Render Hour (which is the cost of the full network running for one hour.)

Unless otherwise stated all quotes are exclusive of VAT. Render-It will quote the amount of CPUs Hours estimated that the render will take. Unless the final files to be rendered are tested on Render-It’s systems, the price quote as well as the estimated time quote will be non-binding as computer systems vary. The final invoice will be based on the actual cost plus output format costs, and delivery costs if any. Render-It will endeavour to achieve the deadlines set by the Client but cannot guarantee it.

c) There is an additional charge of £30 per man hour for work performed out of office hours and on weekends.

2) There will be no charge for the set-up procedure unless the Client fails to notify Render-It that the Client has had problems with the Source files and Render-It has to troubleshoot the files.

3) The rate for the fixing of Source files will be £100.00 ex Vat per man hour.

4) There will be no charge for the receiving and returning of the completed files if done electronically or by standard post.

5) Render-It reserves the right to charge for any courier deliveries made to the client

6) Render-It will output the file onto the following storage formats for free:

a. CD-ROM

b. DVD-ROM

c. If collected electronically via Render-It’s secure FTP site

7) Should it be required, an external hard drive will be provided free of charge provided they are returned to Render-It within 14 days of receipt. If not returned or if the Client chooses to the keep the formats permanently, the Client will be charged Retail price as per the day of invoicing.

8) The Client agrees to pay within 14 days of invoicing by Render-It, the output files remain the property of Render-It until the invoice is paid in full.

Confidentiality:

9) Render-It agrees to treat all Information and Data of the Client as confidential and may not release any information concerning the Client intentionally or unintentionally without prior written consent of the Client.

10) Render-It is registered under the Data Protection Act and will not release any information gathered without permission.

11) All technical information released to the Client by Render-It shall be considered Proprietary and may not be passed on to any third party without the prior written agreement of Render-It.

Information Required:

12) The Client agrees to give all necessary information of Plug-ins, Resolution, Source File Formats, Output File Formats and Storage Formats required before the job commences. Render-It must be informed of all problems relating to Rendering of the source file that have been experienced by Client, otherwise Render-It reserves the right to charge the client for fixing the files as per section 2) and 3).

13) The Client will receive a Job Sheet listing all information to include prior to the job commencing. The Job will not commence if the Job Sheet is not completed and returned to Render-it.

Exclusions:

14) Render-It accepts no responsibility for any setup, configuration or source file errors of the Client.

15) Render-It will be entitled to charge the client for any renders done where the Client has made mistakes or setting changes without informing Render-It prior to the full render being started.

16) Render-It accepts no responsibility for any files that have been developed or created on software that is not legally owned by the client.

17) By completing and returning the Job Sheet the Client agrees to the terms and conditions listed herein.

Governing Law

18) Unless agreed differently within this Agreement, English Law governs this agreement.
